I went for a ride, after work, in the daylight!!!!

OK, it was just a quick shuttle of SOB (yes, I'm ashamed) but it felt damn good to get in a ride after work in light. Until I ate shit on the roots at the bottom (I opted for the tougher line choice).

I have done part shuttles lots on night rides...but this was the first full-on shuttle. Got the wife to drop me off at the old Berminator line and I pushed up then railed SOB on the big bike. I might have done another lap were it not for the quickly approaching start of bingo. Not so bad when you're pressed for time, but I wouldn't do that on a weekend or anything.

Just warming up all the shuttle whoring on Vedder this summer. Hopefully I'll be able to see it from my yard.

Headed up for a 5 pm rip...pinned it down Da Plow and Lebite me to the chain at full race speed with no stopping or slowing. It was all Sasha could do to keep up. Damn I am loving this weather. As I was standing where the trail spits out on the gravel path catching my breath I thought "it doesn't get any better than this". Then this heavenly blonde in yoga pants walks by and I thought "oh yes it does."
