Question about Public Transit around GVRD???

In September I am moving to Burnaby to attend BCIT. Does anyone know how much a bus pass is for the Public Transit system in Vancouver? The Translink website is very confusing for a young lad from a small town like myself. Do buses run to the base area of any of the North Shore ski hills? How long of a travel time am I looking at to take a bus from Burnaby to the North Shore?

Thanks

a 2 zone bus pass will cost you around 80 bucks for a month, this includes skytrains and seabusses as well. On Sundays you can use your bus pass and it will get at least three of your friends on for free.

Grouse mtn. has a transit bus that will take you right to the gondola, cypress and seymour you can access wih shuttle busses that usually cost around ten bucks for a round trip. If want to go to whistler google "snowbus" they offer really good deals that include lift pass and round trip transportation.

Keep trying with the translink site, it may be confusing at first but when you get the hang of it, it will really help you with routes and schedules and how much time you can expect it to take.

Ill have to phone up BCIT this week and get some information about the costs with there student deals. Shitty that BCIT gives deals on seasons passes to Cypress only, Grouse seems to be an easier commute for me.

if you pay $4 at bcit they put a sticker on your bcit ID and it lets you use a 1 zone as a 3 zone

That would be the ski hill doing the deal with BCIT students. For terrain, Cypress is the better mountain anyway.

i know once you get on the train to get to fromme you take the train to gilmore then the 28 to phibbs exchange then the 210 upper lyn valley to the top of mountain HWY then hike from there.... or you could cathe the 144 SFU and go for a quick rip down burnaby mountain with busses as a shuttle

Meh.

Grouse park is better.

Cypress Terrain is better.

If you want terrain, goto whistler.

If you want an evening park session, grouse is the place to be.

Grouse is better... Cypress is better...

This argument is like which kind of white glue tastes better.
