Roam in the loam - Whistler and Squamish

Whistler

All photos from Pat Mulrooney

Two all-mountain bikes - 10 lbs difference

Mix in some ladder bridges

don't forget alpine creek crossings

and of course, views of our record snow year

Has the downhill started yet?

Let's call that a false downhill

As the grind really starts when you go from Young Lust and become Comfortably Numb

The descent is so much sweeter because of the climb

Whistler and its hustle and bustle comes in and out of view

More rock drops to loam

There is always time for the mantrain

The trail is tough. Even the descents have ascents.

Squamish loam

All photos by Pat Mulrooney

It wasn't all loam. We found some jumps

i'd guess that Knolly is around 38-39 lbs ... it's really a light-freeride bike with steeper angles that pedals uphill really well. i believe those frames are 10.5 lbs or so with a coil shock.

so ya, those fluids shuold weigh quite a bit less being a true all-mountain ride with folding tires, etc ...
