magura fr brakes
Had em for a while now, and they perform great.More power for sure than hayes, but i suspected that. I can go slower, over slippery rocks and muck, and not lock the wheels. I guess that is better modulation. Not any fade, but garbo will truly test that. Apparently all mineral oil brakes fade a bit more, but its my first brake that is not hayes. Hint with bleeding: Push old/dirty crap through top, and recap, and replace bottom screw( u will loose some , so yank the pads out). Re-open top, and add fluid, tap caliper, lever, and entire line as u cycle the lever witgh a some thing that wont scratch or break( soft screw driver handle), keep addin fluid until you can cycle with no bubbles coming out. Break up all bubles(may be very small) with syringe that you have been filling the top with. Fill entire reservoir and replace top cap. Thanks to the savage for showing me the details. Oh, and the magnetic pad holder is freakin easy and cool.
