Question Best wood Ramp design

im planning to build a wooden ramp/ jump soon..ive never built one before. Ive seen a bunch of designs but they seem to be quite costly and weak. Does anyone have any photos or designs to build a wood ramp? Anything will help thanks.

Design one yourself, it's not that hard and then you can have the satisfaction knowing you did it yourself.

Also make sure you think about transport for it. I have one that sits around the side of my house, and I haven't taken it out in about 18months, I wait for the snow to come and build a snow landing for it. Do you have a hill near your house to use it on?

I'm bored so I decided to sketch up a ramp I built before. This should work for anything 4' and under, may need some modification. The one I built is only about 2' high, it also breaks into two peices to make it easy to transport.

the 2x10s are the side supports, everything else is 2x4. I can carry the ramp with one hand and Im a stick. Alternative is to have plywood sides, which is lighter but much more awkward to move.

If u got any ideas on a better design thats easily moved im all ears...err eyes.

No worries, everyones got an opinion. Seriously tho, the one I built is as solid as a rock. Perhaps my paint sketch doesnt quite emulate the construction of it. Keep in mind its only a kicker.
