Looking for 4 bolt bashring

What Bash should I get? I have a Hussefelt (had 3 rings, took the thrid off) with a 34 and 24 tooth Blackspire chain rings. I have a crappy SR Suntour one I found around the shop I work at and I'm wondering what you all like? alloy or poly?

that is pretty dang sweet. a little flashy maybe, but sweet. how much is one, and do they come in other colors, I saw something that showed some on their site.

also note, its a AM Hardtell, and I'm not a flashy person really. plus! I work at a shop, and all our dealers are out..so I'm looking to buy one online, and looking to not spend a whole lot since if our dealers had stock I'd get it at cost. thanks again!

???

4-bolt bashguards aren't exactly a hard thing to track down.

The aluminum guards are all pretty comparable, with some being slightly lighter than others. Just get one you like the look of.

An E.13 will slide over obstacles better if you don't mind the extra bulk. A polycarbonate truvativ will break if you hit it on something.

You work at a shop and you are asking us? Remind me not to take me bike to you for repair.

ha, let me explain. I've been working there for 3 months. before that I never touched a bike except to ride to town. I'm now pretty much obsessed with biking and the other mechanic, who knows tons more then I do, has been teaching me alot. I know about bash guards, I just wanted to know the opinions of a community of riders before I bought one. I'm glad I did, since I was a few clicks away from buying a truvativ poly. they really break? the ones I've worked with seem bloody strong.

Ya, the material is fairly brittle and they crack quite easily.

I've got one that's barely scuffed and already almost cracked the whole way through in two places.

On the other hand I've beat the crap out of Blackspire and Kooka aluminum guards with no problems. I also have an E.13 guard that has a flat spot on one side from sliding over so much stuff, but has never cracked.

I shattered a Tru Vativ poly into about 7 or 8 pieces. If you plan on landing on it often, stay away. I have never been let down by blackspire alloy guards. Pretty cheap, simple, and gets the job done. Not to mention it has a friggen beaver etched into it, how cool is that?

Yeah - just stick with a cheap alluminum one like the envy shown above , you can beat the crap out of it and it will never crack - just get scratched up.
