new matt good cd

i just picked it up today and its pretty good. sorta mellowed down from his other stuff but still alright. just reading through the lyrics, i really like his style of writing, its different than most. gonna see him live too

anyone else like matt good?

I got that cd too, it's rad. It's more mellow than his other stuff but I think it's the best CD he's put out, I really like all the songs. I'm gonna try to go to his show in Vernon this month, or the one in Vancouver.

Even though he's an asshole publicly, I've talked to quite a few people who've met him and apparently he's pretty nice and chilled out.

Im going to the Vancouver show and I got the cd. On the whole, the cd seemed pretty lacking to me, a lot of the songs just sort have containing no distinct melody, trying to search for an interesting riff to no avail. IMHO.

I haven't heard his new cd yet but as for him being a dick, think about what a microcosm of crap the Vancouver entertainment industry is. The reporters here are so desperate to have a story of any kind they'll completely overblow anything they can find. If Matthew Good says he didn't like his meal - He's A Dick! If he forgot to put money in the meter - He's an arrogant Asshole! Oh, shit! CityTV just found out he owes his mom ten bucks! It's actually amazing the guy still chooses to live here.
