Fork for a 2005 Norco Six?
I am thinking either a Marzocchi 66Sl 2007, 888Sl 2007, or Fox Van 36.
I am leaning towards the 888, if for no other reason than I believe it will increase my confidence. But I am definitely undecided as I think my bike is unique among six inch travel bikes and could be equally well suited to both dual or single crown forks. Any suggestions and why? -Thanks |

I just had the same dilema to go through and I went with the 66SL 1 ATA for my 2005 Six. There is a slight clearance issue with the 66 in that the ATA knob levers catch on the cables. It doesn't hit the frame though.
I went with the 66 over the 888 because I thought that the 66 would better suit the geometry of the bike but I think you would be fine with a 888 up front. Either SL model would be great. |

Nah, dont go with the 888, the 66Sl is a great choice though. The 66SL is a pretty cool fork and it'll take what abuse your gonna throw at it. I'me considering slapping one on my Six if it does'nt sell soon.

My budy has the 06, 66Lite with ETA and he loves it. The ETA makes a huge difference wile climbing. Makes getting to the top of fromme much nicer.

I am pretty sure if you put a 66 on a 6 satan will once again walk the earth.
Seriously, I don't see a reason to put a Double on that frame. Roll a single, it will give you all you need. |

You may want to consider a RS Lyric. Put one on a SX Trail, replacing a Fox 36R. So many more adjustments, very solid and plush.
