So I had a little run-in with a car...
This is what happens when people don't look at the bike lane before completing a left-hand turn. Fractured my third meta-tarsal (foot). I'm pretty lucky considering, a woman was killed over here yesterday... Be careful out there guys, both drivers and cyclists!

Yeah I'm gonna talk to a lawyer and make sure ICBC gives me a fair settlement for the bike and time off work. There shouldn't be any question as too who's at fault since she was turning left, but you know how these things go...

I saw my dad go over the hood of a car that had turned left in front of him. His bike came out way better than yours...holy shit. Glad your relatively OK. Hopefully you'll get a big fat insurance cheque.
