so how far do we go to pursue our dreams and overcome those challenges

when do you say enough is enough

me in 5 years of riding

broken elbow - out 6 weeks
broken wrist - recurred for 6 months would take a couple weeks off go ride and smash it
dislocated middle finger- kept riding
sprained ankles
broken leg requiring surgery - out 4 months
separated shoulder - 3 weeks
can't remember if i had any concussions ( ha ha)

countless bruises and scrapes, few bone chips in each elbow, everything pops and cracks as it pleases, 1 concussion, busted stuff in hand i never got fixed, obliterated tissue on my hip, all over a span of like 5 years.

so whats up?

Shattered left kneecap - took at least 12 weeks and will follow me forever
Broken right big toe - taped it to the other toes and rode whistler some more
Broken nose, twice
Broken right thumb

All in under 2 years.

Broken Clavicle... off the bike for 3 weeks...

Broken right hand.... off the board for 4 weeks.

Concussion... off bike for 2 weeks... brain off for 2 months.

Split elbow... No stitches, probably should have... off bike for week.

That is all in 5 years of riding.

Once I take my training wheels off the count will probably go up!

Concussion - Snowboarding...headaches and amnesia...
Broken Elbow - Riding....put me out for 2 months.
Broken Ribs - Riding...didn't really stop me from doing anything, aside from surfing.
Broken Wrist - Snowboarding...2 surguries, 4 casts and 3 months later I got my last cast off.
Broken Toes countless times - Makes walking a bitch, limping, usually gone after 2 weeks.
Stitches in knee, shin, wrist, and hand.

In 3 years I've been pretty lucky...

Many cuts, scrapes, bruises
Glute contusion - Off 2 weeks
Busted thumb - 2-3 weeks
Broken hand - Looking like at least 6 weeks

over a period of 4 years...

dislocated collarbone - whistler - 2 months off bike
broken pinky - corkscrew, 2 weeks
cracked shoulderblade and torn rotator cuff (left arm) - sfu, kept riding
sprained right wrist - burke, no break from riding
sprained ankles - too many to list, my right ankle will never be the same, taped it and kept riding
torn right rotator cuff - dj's, kept riding
too many hematomas, bruises and scrapes to list
oh and two concussions

and i've currently got something screwed up with my right forearm, no idea what's wrong but i keep riding

i make a very bad patient

ONLY in the last eight months:
- badly sprained ankle (few weeks)
- Broken wrist (6 plus weeks)
- Torn acl ect. (A Long Time)

torn rotator cuff(left shoulder)

Out of commission for 2 months. All at the same time, at the Woodlot.

I forgot to add a rolled ankle while walking out Crippler one day. I was doing a trail day and I fell walking.

Number of charlie horses, but the worst thing was when i was actually working on it.flipped bike over, Greasy hands, spun the front wheel to see if it was true, noticed the QR was loose, got my finger cuaght between the rotor blade and the qr flap. Almost had stiches
