Lady Skis - advice - K2 Tru Luv

never owned a pair of "lady specific" skis. Looking for opinions.

I know - I deleted the extras - that's what happens when you chug a double capuccino after abstaining for a week.....

My wife is on the Phat Luvs for the second year this year. She loves them. At first she was a bit apprehensive about women-specific skis becuase she thought they would be too soft and intermediate-ish, but her skiing improved more last year than any year before. They are great skis. Im thinking about the 180s for myself...

I can quit booze for a week, coffee would be another story, though I did manage in India, but only cause their tea kicks ass

my wife has the one luv. very solid. K2 womens' skis have been hugely popular the past few years.

I was initially curious as they appear to have a lot more flex and are lighter than what I am used to....where do you think I could get ahold of a pair to demo them for the day???

You could phone can-ski and ask them, they have demo days starting December 20th

Snowcovers is carrying them, you could try them, up here Kev has always been good about getting me a set of skis to demo if I want to try some, not sure if he offers the same to city folk

If you are going to buy them if you like them, the one in the city might set you up

I'm looking to demo something this Saturday up at WB....does any one know what ski stores have a good range of skis to demo from?

newgurl it would help if you told us what types of skis you have had and liked or didn't like in the past. What you prefer to ski and ability.

For example Lee likes to make lots and lots of turns. He has a preference for soft noodley shorter skis.

I like to turn very little and ski at speeds that scare me, so I prefer long stiff siks.

What do you like?
