stopped snowing hard around 11pm, not that much, 10-15cms in the valley, so maybe mre on the mountain, its really cold too....

7am: 22cms in 24hr, mmmm freshies....


12:40pm: had nice shin deep turns under the gondy and down Raven and Old Crow at 9am, no one in the Emerald line, then some more shin deep around Rat Fink, then stood in the Harmony gong show for 40 minutes, then had nice almost knee deep turns the backside of Harmony Ridge, but there are still some big lurking rocks under the new stuff so be on your toes, did another lap the headed out cause the Harm line was getting ridonkulous, you may have been able to hike to Peak but I have to work at 2 and didn't catch that action, but I assume it was bagged, saw LeeLau in the gondy and Harm lines too, a good first real powder day at the WB....

goddamn Pineaplle, freezing rain at 7am when I awoke, went to hill about 8am, they said it was gonna be closed, then maybe only gondy to mid and Garbo only, said screw it cause a friend I was with was gonna buy a day pass, and now its saying only Excaliber Gondy and Wizard are turning, sweet bottom mountian turn for the willing, 80 to 100km wind gusts, starting to get warm down here, and raining steadily......anyone make it up....

friend from patrol emailed and said dont bother going up unless you really like skiing around in a trashbag. very very warm. too bad but not unexpected.
