just got back from watching it tonight - what a great movie. go see it. it will make you think about the way we view the world, if it doesn't your soul is dead. i'd say it easily ranks in the top 3 movies i've ever seen.

couple is on vacation in morocco, something happens on their vacation as well as back home, language barrier creates unnecessary havoc while the whole thing is linked to some guy in another foreign country. look up the legend of babel as well. there's some strong messages in this movie.

while he does have a stereotypical style, i thought he did a good job i this role. some reviews have been talking oscar nomination for this role but i didn't think it was that good.

Depends - personally I think that Brad Pitt has done a good job acting an arrogant hero stereotype. just the beginning is class (even if incorrect): he appears late on the battlefield, completely nukes his enemy, and then...is that all???

you can break down any movie in to a quick synopsis and make it sound good or OK. troy has a horrible movie. pitt was brutal in it, laughable really.
