Coverting LP vinyl to music CD?
Anybody know of any places in the Vancouver lower mainland where you can get your old vinyl records coverted to CD format?

it's simple enough to do at home, just takes a bit of time. the important thing is having a quality sound card with a good a/d converter, otherwise it will sound like shite. if your soundcard is a creative soudblaster live audigy or better you will be fine.

unfortunately I don't have the gear to do it at home ... who owns a record player these days?!?!

I had one of those. The arm got cacked in a move and I bought the systemdek as a replacement. I sold the Linn for parts to a music junkie friend.

If anything bypass cd and convert straight into MP3 digital stuff.
