Inside the Twin Towers.
I just finished watching it on Discovery. I recommend everyone should watch it. Very powerful and it showed you something that no news program could. It was basically two hours of survivors telling their story as well as others explaining about the others that didn't make it out. It's one thing to see it on the news, but to see the people's stories and a ton of extra footage was amazing.
Anyone else see it? Im sure it will be on for the next couple days. Everyone should see it.

its been on for about a week now. the part that i found amusing is when the three guys are trying to get out via the elevator the fat guy says "ill bet you al qaeda is responsible for this" even though they had no idea why the building was on fire yet.

it is def a good watch though.

Sorry but they had no idea why the building was burning, most thought until the second plane hit that it was an accident.

No doubt though it was a good show!

I can't watch stuff like that, the actual event was horrible enough to watch live. same with Hurricane Katrina and the Tsunami, and any disaster, natural or terrorist caused. It just makes me cry.

every channel I watch has some special about 9/11.

all very cool to watch. gives you such a different insight to what the news shows.

Ya know, this thread has now totally got me thinking. On the weekends i pick up extra shifts at the arts centre where I work, during the week it is mostly professional artists who use the facility and are respectful of the security measures that we have in place as the building located downtown is in a somewhat sketchy area at times. On the weekends the building hosts arts classes for children of all ages. You would not believe how many parents whose children take these classes out and out refuse to leave their childs name and a contact number where they can be reached in case of an emergency, and just walk on by the reception desk where it is clearly posted that all visitors must sign into the building for their own safety. As far as I know the building would be totally liable in case of such an emergency or if (god forbid) one of these kids went missing. Whose responsibility is it if we don't even know the kid was here in the first place. There really ought to be some sort of class or licence you have to pass before becoming a parent.

I wonder if the Simpsons 18th season kick off tonight will have anything to do with the twin towers...

Anyway, I saw a different show where some guy was just sitting in his office, and BAM and airplane flies into the building, apparently he just ducked under his desk, and the wing was like hanging through his wall. When he got the chance, he booked it.
