So, why was there only one guy in the car? In other rally segments I've seen, there is always a map guy too.

Is it because it's 1990, or because it's special, being Pike's Peak?

pikes peak is only a ten-twenty minute hill climb, and the guys know the course like the back of there hand.

In wrc the courses are much longer and the driver often doesnt know whats coming, the guy navigating tells him.
