Real-world tires for daily Vancouver riding? Commuters & couriers please respond!
Just started my first road project bike and I'm looking for a nice fat (28-32ish) set of bombproof tires for my daily long-distance commute and the occasional alleycat. The most important thing for me is wet-weather performance, then durability. Weight and price are of the least concern.
Let me know what the hotness is and where to score 'em locally!

i have these on my road bike. you cant really notice the weight or anything. and i do most of my roadriding in a city environment and ive ran over stuff i know another tire would have flatted. im not a racer and only ride for fun and i would buy these again if needed.
http://www.bontrager.com/Road/Wheelworks/Tires/5731.php edit: i only have a few rides in the wet but i fet confident riding these in the rain. |

Tioga City slicks any size. I rode them to LA from Van years ago and have used them ever since. If you are commuting throw a pair of Mr Tuffy strips in and you will never flat.
