My Ride For 06...So Far.

With lots of people posting up there bikes for the upcoming season I thought that I would join in and post up my bike! Frame is a 2005 Norco 416. Upgrades to come for this season are...new front Mavic 325 disc to match the rear, 6" rear rotor, new cranks/sprocket, bar and stem, stiff spring kit for the fork, and possible SRAM shifter/derailleur combo. As of right now it weighs in at a slim 30lbs.

Here it is!

and the best grips ever(Corey Martinez):

Mostly everything is off of past bikes, the frame was around $650 on sale...the jumper I got from warranty when I broke my stance...so I dont really know how much, haha

How much does that frame weigh? My 604 street is around 35lbs, and the build is pretty similiar to yours

Nice bike.

Those are my favourite grips too, so solid. A little slippery in the wet, but perfect for a street bike and they last forever too.

I think the 416 frame saves weight with the reynolds tube set. It can't really be that much lighter though, as it still has the big dropouts and welded on chainstay guards. At the very most I'd say it's 0.75-1 lb lighter than the 604 frame.
