Powder Coating prices

Im looking at getting my hardtail done before I sell it. What are the prices for a plain black? Either Mainland or Island.

have look, there's been a few posts on this...I want to get mine done to. I saved this comment from the last time this was covered:

"Hi tech Custom Coaters on Crown street in North Van. I got my Ollie powder coated for $25 (black or white - colors are $250). You have to completely strip it first, and I mean COMPLETELY."

there were others too.

well I would be very careful that they understand where they need to mask and plug, or you will end up with a next to worthless BB shell.

With a file you can take the powder off easily (as was the case with my frame, but I don't think it cured properly, and is being repainted), but you are pooched if it cures into the threads...

The best places for the best price for powder coatings are, rainbow powder coatings, in coquitlam. And superior powder coatings in north van. You can get any possible color from rainbow for $75, and superior does only white or black for $40.

I second Rainbow in Coquitlam. Total cost including stripping $150 (may be slightly more depending on color).

I got my frame powder coated at Advanced Powder Coatings, on the Guide Meridian, btwn Bellingham and Lynden.

It cost $75, including stripping and bead blasting.

Pictures will not show u the paint quality... even a great paint job in the hands of a crappy photographer will come out pretty crappy... and v.versa. I have seen Posernewbie's newly painted bike from Rainbow and it looks very good. I would not hesistate sending my own bike there myself for the price he got it for.
