Vote for the Green party!

So in another thread, a lot of people are saying that there is no good party to vote for, and that people will vote for the lesser of three evils.

Why not vote for the Green Party?http://www.greenparty.ca/index.html?

My opinion is that a Green vote is a vote for electoral reform. It's not primarily a vote for environmentally sound policies, but it's also a vote for social justice, inter-cultural harmony, grass-roots democracy and initiatives, and also a vote for the future of our country and its citizens.

Vote Green. It's not the lesser of numerous evils, but rather the only sensible choice.

And, the Green party is not the marijuana party, in case you were wondering.

I was watching the green party leader (I think it was their leader) talk on the news for a short time but I fell asleep after 30 seconds.

Their leader has no charisma at all, they need to hire a professional...

I really do think that they need to have a role, but winning the election is not what canada needs IMO. There is a chance ill vote for them though, as long as it looks like they are not in the running (who am i kidding?).

yah no kidding. I'll be the last one to say it is. But given the situation we are in as a society, I just don't find the green party's "answers" to our environmental problems to be realistic. We all can't move to one of the gulf islands and live off our own little veggie patch.

they would take us back years. I cant remember what site I was on but after reading their views/stances on many subjects (so probaby their own site) I was less than impressed and refuse to vote Green. And secretly, I'm a fascist

How are they going to pay for everything?

This country would be in ruin in 18 months, that's how long it would take for every business to pack up and leave.

We all get it by now, you are Liberal. Now let other people have their oppinions too. Want mine? I HATE THE LIBERALS AND WOULD TAKE THE GOODAMN COMMUNIST PARTY OVER THEM RIGHT NOW. (Atleast shopping would be easier... I hate how there are 50 different kinds of every fuckin food at the grocery store.

I didn't really have to read any of it, as soon as they discount their amazingly short sighted fiscal policy I dismiss them.

I am not a liberal at all, I vote for whoever I think will do a better job running the country, and right now I think that is the Liberals

Communists have a fantastic history for balancing supply and demand, and boy they sure do away with any corruption problems

I think to start, we need the Green Party to get some seats! Then, maybe move into a posistion of influence. I don't think they'd be the best people to lead the country right now, but if they had some pull, that'd be awesome. I think they would keep the leaders accountable, and get Canadians used to the idea of green policies.
