2006 888RC2X Vs.2005 888RC
So I could not help but notice the number of riders in Whistler this past summer who had the priviledge or riding on a 2006 888RC2X all summer.
My questions is to the people that have ridden full seasons on BOTH versions of the 2005 AND 2006 Marzocchi 888's is: "So is the 2006 version that radically different in feel????". The is no need to quote the technical stuff on the new damping system, adjustability, etc. If I want to hear that, I will go to the Marzocchi website, but I am looking for responses to people who have ACTUALLY RIDDEN both the 2005 and 2006 versions for a significant period of time. The 2005 version was, IMO, one of the best feeling forks on the market. Is the 2006 that radically different in how it feels, or just a more slightly advanced fork in terms of technology and tuneability? If you have not ridden both, then please don't post because you are not really helping me out (I know it has low ride crowns, etc. but what I am looking for is if the fork feels that much different from its 2005 version). Thanks!! |
