Cypress bike park next year

I know, i know its not even december but...

Does anyone know what they have planned for next year? Is there talk of a slopestyle section (a la boneyard)? Does anyone on the boards work or know someone that works for cypress that can give us the inside scoop?
What do you guys think a seasons pass will cost, $300ish??

hopefully the pass will cost less than that i doubt id go enough times to pay it off

the reasonable price for a season ticket would be 200, i would hope for less than 150 but i doubt it very much... but more than 300 it madness i think, when whistler sells it for 325... no comparison

^^ i have no idea what the seasons passes would be, $300 was just a number i threw out there. I hope it would be under $200 as well,

I believe I heard some one mention that they want to have a little boneyard-ish area this coming year. No idea about ticket pricing though hopefully sub $150, but if they open up a lot more, a higher price could be justifiable.

I bet its in the $300 neighbourhood, just because it doesnt access the terrain whistler does, it can probably be justified to them because its in your backyard, rather than up the sea to sky highway of certain doom.

im not even going to bother with cypress next year i might go once but whistler is just so much better and if im going to drive an hour to cypress i might as well go to whistler.

season passes will be around 159.95 from what the rental guy told me..

I had understood that for nextyear the bike park planned to have more "extreme" trails and more diverse trails. Also maybe a mini boneyard kind of idea

I personally liked Cypress. I know that it is a "work in progress" but I still had fun. Whistler is fun, but I just don't seem to jive with that place. But I suppose that if I were to go to any bike park often enough, I'd "get it".

same here. At Whistler I often get intimidated by some of the stuff and dont ride my best. When I went to Cypress I had tons of fun. None of the trails were really too challenging but they were all super fun.

Cypress was some great fun, especially right near the end. I'll be back for sure. Whistler is great too, but Cypress had a good atmosphere (or feel, whatever you want to call it).
