Triple Crown cut times.

obviously James and Sharon came up with the 3 hour run from old buck to the water towers not realizing what kind of fat lazy slobs are going to be riding up. there is no way our group is going to make a noon cut at the watertowers. Realisticly were looking at 3.5+ hours to the watertowers.
should we

A - Start earlier,
B - Move the Cut time back
C- send someone to pick up our cards and worry about our own lunch
D - Crack open more beer and forget the poker ralley

that said the 3:00 at Cleavland Damn shoud be fine.. I would be suprised if it would take more than an hour and a half to get over there from the water towers.

yeah the cutoff times seem weird.

you should be at cleveland dam easily in 60-75 mins from the water towers if the Ex is ridden. i don't get it at all. maybe it's 3pm at the cypress pre-reap lot?

I'm thinking they may be trying to discourage people from ambitiously taking in too many Seymour trails and then dying on Cypress.

Getting fom Cleveland to the the Cypress check point will be a challenge.

I think its fine, and I am in no way shape or form a XC racer. Its just a way to get everyone back in time for awards and such.

no way in hell are we starting earlier.
sorry guys. my thinking was if you can't do one mountain in 3 hours you couldn't do 3 in 8. we can change the fromme water tower cut off to 1pm.
rat if you could let me know about your bbq... i was under the impression you guys were doing your own lunch and took that into account ordering food. if not let me know so nobody starves.

Well sadly some of us will have a hard time completeing in 8 hours. If you have ridden up seymour and over to fromme youll know what I mean. Actually Im pretty sure we cant do it in 8 hours but as we have all signed up we would like to compete in some format or anouther. Perhaps we could get an early start and you could hold our old buck cards untill we see you at the top of seymour.

we were planning in partaking in the free lunch at fromme so let me know if thats a problem. you welcome to use the BBQ bunny but its just a little habachi so it will be tough to cook for alot of folks.
