stolen bike from man in wheelchair!

A year after a mountain biking accident left 29 year old Jay McCur paralysed from his waist down, he decided heto post his bike for sale online.
"I was interested in purchasing some property instead of just living in home care," McCue said from his northeast Calgary home, where a teenage boy rode of with his bike Thursday.
McCue was asking for 6,300 for his custom built Foes Mono DH bike - though it was worth $11,000.
It was posted last week, and 2 days later, a teenage boy claiming to reside in dalhousie area of calgary contacted him, saying he wanted to purchase the bike before moving to whistler for the summer. McCue had a friend ship the bike from Jasper.
The teen showed up around 11 am. Thursday and after 90 minutes of discussing the bike, told McCue his father would come by on his lunch break to pay for it.
"I let him try it in the yard, and since im in a wheelchair, he had the nerve enough to get on it and pedal away," McCue said Monday.
Helpless, McCue called police, but by the time they showed up, his bike was long gone.
"Our concern is this guys's going to sell the bike and we dont have anything but a description. - possibly he lives in dalhousie, he likes to mountainbike, he mentioned he was at COP and might be going to whistler. The culprit is described as a 15 - 17 year old white male that is about 5'11 with a slim build and shaggy brown hair. he also has braces and blonde highlights.
