a good scary film?
ok so im having ppl over tonight and i need to get a really good scary film... i want one that will make you shit yourself, but it cant be a new release because they wouldnt be in malta yet, so something around a year or more old. any suggestions?

get the movie saw. not the scariest out there but a good flick none the less and the ending is soo fucked up

i'd also recomend House of 1000 corpses ( scary and weird from the mind of Rob Zombie)

if you go for the ring, DO NOT get Ringu. Wast of time. This is one of the rare occasions where the Americanized version was far superior. They actually included the plot points that made the story awesome and not just scary. The Japanese version was dull and had few to none of the nuances of the book.

My vote is for the Exorcist. Still scary as hell decades later.

Definately the only film to come close to filling the genre in decades. Maybe I was spoiled as a kid but there isn't anything scary in movies today.
