What does the Fox 40 come with????
What I understand the Fox 40 comes with extra springs for different riders wieght. Is that true??? Also does it come with brake adapters? Will the Brake adapter off my 888 work with the Fox 40 for 8in Hayes???

the FOX 40 uses a special tab spacing so u only use a 6" XC adaptor to allow your caliper to space out to a 8" rotor...
the werd is they did this to allow the caliper to be closer to teh fork leg as to offer more protection, , aswell as remove the adator flex from the use of overly big adaptors.. |

Comes with springs for light, med, and firm. The med is the ti spring, the rest are steel. As IFO stated you will need a XS adaptor( hayes part number-98-15068 ). It also comes with the best owners manual I have ever seen, this is the way they should all come.
I had a 2005 Dorodo ordered but the date kept being pushed back on when I would get it so I made a few phone calls and two days later here it is. http://www.pinkbike.com/modules/phot...w&image=440446 I have only had one day on the thing and am still working on the set up to get it to jive with the fifth on the back end but damn I have to say this thing is sweet. (but who buys a new fork and after only one day calls it a pile of crap).

didn't you ditch the super t for a smaller fork?......or is it wanting to be a big bike again because you have the pipeline? |
