For school I decided to write a report on whistler. It is about 1700 words, so it is quite long but if you are at work or school and are bored give it a read and tell me what you think. It might get you stoked to get up there.

Introduction
The purpose of this report is to show why Whistler is a world-class, year-round resort and why it was a perfect choice as the venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Whistler Resort has had the foresight to make changes over the past few years in order to attain their world-class status. Now that Whistler has won the bid for the 2010 Winter Olympics, many more changes have to be made to get ready. This report will also provide an overview of some of the changes that being planned.

The Municipality of Whistler Village in coastal British Columbia is known as an outstanding destination for people from all over the world. Primarily, it is considered to be a winter resort with many different outdoor adventures to offer. Winter in Whistler offers many outdoor activities with choices ranging from snowmobiling and snow shoeing to cross country skiing around the village trails. Its greatest attraction, however, is downhill skiing and snowboarding on Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

Stuff like: Whistler is one of three resorts in the world that have more than 2 million skier visits in a year

"Whistler cannot be matched in the United States" Oh yea? Aspen? Vale? Perhaps giving some grounds, compare numbers from the other resorts or something. Groundless statements like that are no-go.

I am sure there numbers are just as good but whistler over all is rated higher. For all aspects such as night life, backcountry, park.

Freeze magazine did a pole and whistler was rated the highest

and yes i got some of my research from Freeze Magazine
