I've had so many trucks it's rediculous. But my 4x4 days are done.
Right now I have fun with my '92 extcab 2wd Dakota....318 Magnum power, loud and fast the 12mpg is brutal though
I'm gonna pimp it out Pre-runner style actually.

Hmmm - how do you know what I use everyday?

If you are going to compare me riding my bike whose tires use oil in it's production - that is sort of insane since the tires are a one time purchase compared to weekly truck consumption of 30-50 litres of gasoline (or more).

Also, do you use your truck ONLY for transporting 100s of pounds of stuff. If so that is awesome - but if you ever use it to get smokes or groceries (things you can do in a less consuming stn wagn or car) then you are using more oil than me by about 1000 times.

But hey, go ahead and drive your truck and post cool pictures of it. I'm just saying if you care about things you'd find a way to accomplish your transporation of bikes and gear in a less damaging way. Most people do not "need" the big truck except if they are used for business like construction and such.

Ok, maybe I should discuss this with somebody who actually owns a house.


What do you do when you have to reno your house? How does the material get from one place to another? In my Echo?

How do you load up half a ton of cargo into a minivan?

I think you might have to get out of the city a little more.

When they come out with a true hybrid truck, I'll be the first one there to buy it.
