i hate my bank and car financer.
both group are stupid morons.

on friday i get a call from nissan finance. they claim my car loan is past due from november. i check my bank. the money was taken out. i call nissan back. tell them the money was taken out. i get a call this afternoon again from nissan. now i have two payments due. novembers and januarys. im sitting there looking at my online statement as the guy is sitting there telling me that it keeps coming back NSF. there is $1300 in the bank and this knob is telling me that there is no money in the account. i fax him the bank statements that show i paid those two months. i get a call back saying that its the bank problem and i have to pay by friday or they will repo the car. i go into the bank and they tell me since the payments came out it nissans problem.

so here i am about to lose my car, i am out almost $1000 and they are demanding that much again to pay for the already paid for payments. and no one wants to take repsonsability for the missing money. its all automatic withdrawl so "there is nothing we can do, it appears that its lost somewhere in the system."

/end rant.

i just hate dealing with people when it comes to money. normally im calm but when they are telling me that nearly $1000 is missing in the system i lost it. im pretty sure i made the guy i was talking to cry.

Hey Moose,

if they give you grief, tell them that you have spoken to your attorney and he advises you that as the payment have been made and processed by the bank (to which you have shown them proof), if the finance company reposesses your car they will be liable for lawsuit and all of the cost for inconvieniencing you and lost wages due to no transportation.

The word Attorney usually grabs attention pretty quick.

You might also want to talk to a manager as opposed to some schmuck in the call center.

Every online transaction has a reference number. Call your bank and give them the reference # and say take care of it or you're outta there. Or give the reference numbers to Nissan and say here I've done my part, you guys get your $hit together.

There is no way in hell they can take your car if you have in fact paid. If your bank chooses to do nothing....I'd search for a new place to do your banking for sure.
