selling things on ebay

if i want to sell something on ebay, is there a charge to do that? do i need a credit card(and does it have to mine, or can i use my dads)
can i cancel auctions once they have began?

I think ebay has a FAQ page that should answer everything you want to know. Yes they charge you to sell stuff. I'm not sure about cancelling auctions. And yes you need a credit card.

I sell stuff on ebay, works fairly well. I'm also registered with PayPal - you need a credit card for that also.

selling costs a couple bucks, then there is another charge if it sells.

you can't cancel an auction if someone has bid on it or if there is less than 12 hours left in it.

you need a CC

try buying a few things first. you will have a feedback rating of zero when you start and alot of people won't buy from you unless your rating is 1 or 2 at the least. if you bought 2 things and both people left you a positive feedback , you would have a rating of 2.

there will also be a pair of shades beside your username for 30 days. so it is best to regesiter and then sell after the 30 days.

buying is really annoying but selling is easy but you do need a credit card to sell so if you rip someone off they just charge it to your credit card.

I have found that you only need a credit card if you are using a free email address like hotmail or yahoo. But if you are using one from your ISP (like telus) then you don't need a credit card.

I bought 2 computer games from a local pawn shop for a total of 4$.
I just sold them on Ebay for a total of 77$.
