Classic example of why I am not a big NHL fan. I find it disguisting how the ref is basically setting the stage for them to duke it out - "Are you guys gonna fight? Ok cool! Just let me get out of the way first - then go nuts - the television networks love it!"

That's not hockey - that's WWFNHL. The ref should be stopping that before it even starts IMHO.

Is downey left handed? They have an inherent advantage as fighters.
