Guitar Tunes

I've been playing acoustic for a little while now and got my hands on a half decent electric for cheap, so I wanna play some simple tunes that sound decent and work my way up from there.

The songs don't have to be from great bands - crap like Green Day, and Nirvana is good enough. I'm probably not at the level to be playing the better stuff.

WHat do you suggest?

even though blink 182 is a bad band. their songs are easy to learn on.

Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water.

Actually, just get some distortion and bar chord Jumpin' Jack Flash. Very easy, and sounds pretty good.
