okay, here we go:
http://www.iq.sony.com login as guest (unless you know your model number) and search for "usb drivers" Last edited by Captain Da; 09-06-2004 at 03:59 PM. |

Ehhh, screw it.
The problem I repeatedly encountered is that the USB support is in SP1, and i have SP2 installed. SP1 does not operate when SP2 is around. Formating drive C as we speak. (obviously on a different computer) needed a clean install anyway. A new beginning. Last edited by BoyBoy; 09-06-2004 at 11:21 PM. |

damn, after reformatting and reinstalling everything my computer is blazing fast.
from hitting the power switch to being fully booted takes like 60 seconds. used to take like 3 minutes. i am downloading at nearly 1.2 Mbps.... used to max out at 600-700kbs. everything is running smooooooth.
