i have been looking forward to that since it first went through its "prototype" stage....it would have been a kick ass event, hopefully somewhere else accepts it so they can duke it out. i've been able to watch quite a few of those guys in the competition play (and fight), and it would have been something to watch them drop the gloves against each other...its just too bad....

I wonder if Bert was asked to participate in that?

He a big mean strong man (not in reference to the "incident") and could've probably pummelled most opponents.

there's no way he'd participate in that.... it would just add to his present troubles.. i'd bet no one who is presently in the NHL would be involved in it
