Bought a new bike....from Vietnam!
So my K2 HT won't be built till spring at the earliest. My Giant DH has no seatpost extension at all(27.2mm). My Wife has a sweet Trek 4300WSD and it blows me away how fast she goes down the street on it (I can't keep up for 2min on my DH bike, never mind an hr or something)...my Daughter is starting to haul ass on the pavement aswell.(7yrs old)

So I was following my Wife around Costco as per usual......on sale, $120. How can you go wrong if you just wanna rip around town with the Family?! I can't even build one wheel for my K2 for that!

Good point.

The fork and brakes are probably better than what I had on my xc bike back in 94.

I'm not even kidding.
I bought the upside downer Fridge so I wouldn't have to stoop all the time to access shit. The only reason freezers are on top is cuz the overall unit can operate more efficiently.
I'll just pay my extra $3 a mth on the hydro bill and live a relaxed life. Jeeze.


And ya......these brakes/rims work better than my perfectly dialed Canti's back in 1990

HA, bought my wife the ladies model of that bike earlier this year. She loves it. She was freaked to ride a bike after a bad crash many moons ago, so we bought her an elcheapo and she loves it and I got her on a bike.....YAY. We went on a 14KM ride yesterday up past the potholes and went for a swim in the cleanest bost beautifull water with no-one else around. So maybe soon look at getting her a nice little ride. But for the cash....you can't beat that bike.
