Nervous anticipation
I interviewed with Raleigh America Bicycles just over a week ago and should find out some time tomorrow (Monday) whether or not I have the job (Purchasing Asst.). The interview went well from the general vibe I got there. I also have a few friends that already work there, so surely they've put in a good word or two (do I hear a three??) for me.

I'm tired from riding today, but having a hard time sleeping. I feel like a kid on X-mas Eve without a doubt.

I REALLY hope I get this job - I feel like it's right up my alley...not to mention that I'd be getting pro-deals on all kinds of sporting equipment (not just cycling) working there and, of course, I'd be working in the bicycle industry. Career potential at this company for sure.

Cross your fingers for me, peeps - thanks!!

p.s. - I guess I'm posting this hoping that getting this off my chest will finally help me fall asleep

Thanks, r3volution - holy crap! That bike is nutzo!!! I'll pretend I didn't see it in case you ever decide to warranty it

They've been around for a long, long, long, long time. They kind of slumped for a while after the 80's, but are really starting to get back into the mix (at least in ). They also run Diamondback Bicycles as well. Got to see a prototype of Diamondback's new HT rig the day I interviewed and I liked what I saw.
I would be able to score one of those RamXT3500's (which I immediately likened to a Kona as well) for $1,400/US after tax, etc.

That was Billy's bike. The Bomber fork needs some warranty haha. The frame was from like '93 haha. It was a pimp bike. It's in pieces right now We will launch Billy off the Chief in Squamish soon haha.

That dummy off the roof is GOLDEN!!

Now I'm kicking myself in the ass for not keeping my old XC/HT that I barely bent my head-tube when I got hit. It would have been a perfect dummy-bike.
I did drop an old Huffy frame from a 4th story fire-escape once (well, more like 4 or five times in one night). Damn thing bent but never broke sorry, no pics

I got my dummie bike for FREE from a local shop

Then we painted it black but if you see the pics we bashed it in and you can see the green colour underneath.
