Wood or Dirt Tranny
I just finished building a 14 foot drop, and need to build a tranny for it. The landing is going to be big, so it would take alot of dirt. Should I just make it out of wood, and if so what would be the best way to do it?

I think dirt would be better because it isn't slippery in the rain. Just use some filler (Rocks, Logs, old cars) and throw some dirt on top.

Personally, I perfer dirt. Sometimes though that just isn't feasible. dude, it's your jump. Make it the way YOU would want to land it!!!

The problem w all wood trannies is that eventually it will rot away, as well as slippery when wet etc,,,rocks and dirt are pretty much going to last, just add more sand/dirt as required. |
