Best place to learn to dirt jump in NV

So where does an old fart who doesn't understand the technique of dirt jumping go to learn?

With so much of the damn stuff around on all the trails, and they all seem to be gappers nowadays, I figure I should at least learn to do small table tops properly. I'd like to learn just the basics of how to hit them and land them on the back side, nothing fancy, not with big air - too old for all of that! :-)

I've heard of jumps out at Mrytle park in DC, I just checked out the ones off the "bad boys trail" in Lynn Valley but it's all gaps, and a buddy mentioned there are drops behind his place up at Hyannis (Hyannis jumps) but I think he said they are all gaps. So is Mrytle the best/only place in NV?

Whistler is another place I guess, but the tables seem fairly long (not the stand alones but at Whistler it would make sense to hit a trail with them and keep riding). Behind the parking lot at Whistler is another option I guess. Overall NV would be better for me. Ideas?

^^^ I'm with them, I went to Myrtle and it was fun. You should also try BMX tracks too. Nice wide tables and stuff. That is my fav place to try, we have a track in Surrey, and I still need to go to LaFarge as well.

Loutet in the forest is prolly the best palce to learn. nice small jumps but they are fun too.

Another cool place to learn but isnt built yet would prolly be the jumps on B-line. They will be small and there will be lots of them all the way down the mountain
