I'd be into a local ride.

Can't really justify the drive out to ride bear... unless you also do red or the stuff above the DH run if its still there.

Last time I was out at Bear there were pink signs up about the area being closed during the week except for the Bear Mtn trail due to road building. It looks like they're logging in there too, lots of trees down along the road below Jolly Rancher and the one to Bigguns.

Jolly Rancher is still there, but in really rough shape last time I was on it (a couple of months ago) - the stunts are broken in a lot of spots, and the lower route out is disappearing. The higher route (less twisty) was clearer.

Bigguns is in decent condition, I rode it on the weekend. I'd forgotten how far in it was. I haven't been up to the trails around the radio tower in a long, long time, so I can't say what those are like right now.

The Red Mtn xc loop is in decent shape, there's a big work day for that one coming up either this weekend or the next to prepare it for the race. One section at the top, just after the bridge, has been logged, but they've roughed in a replacement.

The DH course is really good right now.

Those are the only ones I know about. Hope that helps.
