Cannondale gemini dh frame

ok well I decided to sell my v10 and go with a 04 gemini dh frame, I was just wanted to know a coulple things about it on the site is says it has 18 inch chain stays that is huge, could the site be wrong, my v10 has 17.5. How do they handle like can they be thrown around and like do they feel long, I'm looking for a bike i can ride the shore on and still kill it at whistler. I like the idea I can build it up light also. Any info woudl be great.

It is a dh race bike so it is gonna be designed to go fast and be stable, but it should feel livelier than your v 10, through my calculator i get 17.87 inches for the chainstays too. not unusal for a dh bike really, plus depending on suspension dynamics chainstays on some bikes can grow to around 18 inches when under load.

don't worry to much about it unless you were looking to get a much liverlier ride than your v 10, this will most likely be a little better, but it wont be a dj bike.

Nice that sounds pretty sweet. you are going to love that bike. jealous I am. The bb shell is a 68mm on there. You can run a 113mm bb with that e13 guide. sounds like you are going to have it dialed. how long until you get it built?

I've got a gemini 900 right now, and it's damn worthy of anything.

You can get reducers for your frame BSP in north van have them. they are $45 for the pair for the super deep press. there are some less expensive ones but they are ghetto. I do not have a dh yet. I am riding a gemini built up with a lefty max. I was just up in the bike park today on it. it rails. I have been on the bike for over 2 years now without any issues. I do have a couple of friends on the gemini dh and they say that it is the best dh rig they have ever ridden. the others they have had are some turners, giant dh team, schwinn straight 8. you will love it. any more questions let me know. or give the guys a bsp a call. 988 - 1800
