Bushing play in sherman?

it seems my bushing have some play in them, not too much but it trips me out, i keep thinking my headset is loose.

soooo, how much play, if any, should there be in the bushings?

ummm none really...

u can tell if your fork legs have play by grabbing a handful of frt brake...

then put your hand on the lowers... and while holding the brake rock the bike back and forth... if u can "feeel" the fork moving inside, then u have bushing play...

if its a headset problem u shouldnt "feel' anything going on inside the fork...

its sounds kinda odd, but it works...

grab fornt brake and stick your finger inbetween the arch and stantions, this is the easiest way but, kinda awkward. get a buddy to help by holding the bike and rocking it a bit for you while you have your finger inbetween the arch and the stantions right at the seals.
