Exclamation big hits/romic shocks

A mate of mine has got a romic shock to fit on his bighit after hearing that they can increase the travel to 9inches,can anyone let me know this is done? At the moment we can only fit it in the shorter travel settings.

never heard of just changing the shock to increase the travel. i seen link plates that increase travel on norco/specialized, which keep the existing shock. it could be possible that the same lenght of shock would have the longer stroke and therefor more travel....
but ya, that's all i know

cheers

if your using the 3.0 stroke Romic it will give u more travel but will also mess up the gemotery...

the shock is longer then the stock vanilla RC...

unless Romic started making a 2.75" stroke shock... they didnt used to....

Romic makes a 9.0 X 2.75 shock. Check their website. I might be interested in that for my 2003 BH Expert, if it gives a slight BB and HA increase. Somewhere in between position A and B. I like the Head angle in position A with my 2002 Super T, but I had a bad fall last friday when I bottomed my crank arm against some rocks.
