Just thought I'd ask here in case: Linux X server question.
Yeah yeah.Anyway, I've got my gentoo setup pretty nicely the way I like it, I'm running XFce4, and I'm having a bitch of time closing and/or making the port 6000 that X listens to unavailable to the outside world. I've heard that it complains if it doesn't listen, but you can make it listen on localhost instead of my outside network. This is the only port that turns up on my nmaps (which is 4 less than the supposedly "secure" win2k box beside me!). Anyway. seand? anyone else?
