they have no clew at all wat were doing here. they think that as mountain bikers we go up the mountain and ride XC trails. or at least this is what my friend was like. i took him up there one time and he truly apolajized (sp) to me for all the shit he had said. show them some picts and vids. tell them to watch NWD4 and then theyel change their mind.

I truly think thats what separates mtb from bmx. ATTITUDE. i COULD go buy a bmx and ride it, id have no problem with that- but honistly, how much fun would i have when everyone of my 'fellow bmxers" called me a poser cuz i dont know how to grind? Thats fuckin messed, that thread made me angry. I cant believe that, they just totally lost any resect i had for bmxers at all- aside from the few who are cool, cuz there are some.. but for the most part what fuckin cock sucking assholes!! I choose to ride mtb cuz its fucking awesome, the trails are amazing and i love the way i feel when im on them, i choose to ride a 'over-sized bmx' cuz im a mountain biker and i feel comfortable on my street/dj machine- its all personal preference you cant kack someone like that its just not cool.

That also turns me of from wanting to ride the park. That guy has some issues.. I think he should come ride with some of us peeps(mtbers in general) sometime and then he can really see- not even just showing him what pros can do, but the locals (like brody, gully, rossy, crans, JJ) they do amazing shit that i could only dream of doing one day- but im learning and so just cause im out there trying ( and maybe sucking at it) but im still there haveing fun and doing it, how does that in any way make me a poser? The posers are sitting at home looking at their bikes and NOT riding ever!

bmx riders are just pissed that people on mtb's come to the parks and just snake around the park ect and get in the way most of the time.
Plus with Mtb tires, people are always bringing dirt into the park that can cause a skater to fall.
Learn the rules of a skatepark and you will be fine.

Christ, you really don't know when to shut up.

Some of the guys on there are lame, but having met a lot of them they have some valid points...MTBers have this thing with whoring lines in parks, and chilling in bad areas (in the way of riding). I mountain bike, and BMX, so I see both sides of the argument.
