missing this riding season, how do you deal?
hey guys, well, i had further mri on my right knee for a "suspected" torn ligament, well, it turns out that i severed a ligament and the ligament that i tore is uniqe for it does not heal by itself, the doc told me that i have tons of play in my knee and he told me that i need surgery. Well, i go in for surgery april 20 and wont beable to do any "extreme sports" for atleast 5 months, prob 6 months. I just bought my brand new bike and was wondering how you guys deal when somthing like this happens to you. I know that some of you have missed seasons before. How do you make the time pass? Im just prety damn depressed right now. Im still just moping around the house...

life fucking sucks, I know how people always say that it gets better but... I had a deal going with a sponsered race team, i woudl get like 45% off every thing, i got my new bike, and then i have to go and do this on my god damn dirtbike I am just prety depressed. Its also going to be hard because of my friends, thats how we hang out, we ride, we will still hang out some but even still, if its a nice day there going to want to go riding, not hang with some gimp in his room DAMN, im so freeken depressed.

6 months of hell. he said il beable to ride around within 2 months but i know that i will be tempted to try stuff so i am not even going to bother...

I was told I was out for 1 year! and i was back riding in 3 or 2 months and it feels great. sore but great.. the second u get that thing repaired start working it out a day or 2 after get that muscle back to its size

hey guess what, im in the priocess of recovering from my second knee surgery in less than a year, both with the 6 month recovery period as well as trouble with illness and dislocated shoulders. stop your fuckin whining. suck it up
