glasses help need please.

So me and the woman are in need of new glasses. we are looking for a place thats decently priced and in the lower mainland area. so far the cheapest place is about 250-300 per pair and thats with standard lenses. does anyone know a decent place? as long as its in the lower mainland i can handle the drive.

thanks.

went there already. 200+ for lenses and cheapest decent frames were about 150. the lady said we would be looking at around 700-800 bucks.

unfortunately, unless you want 1970's look (big frames) you're looking at between $200-300 for a decent set of glasses. on the bright side, they should last for a few years - my latest pair is getting close to 5 years but i think i need a new prescription now

those transition lenses will bugger your eyes my friend, people say they're oh so great, but once ya get rid of 'em you end up photo-sensitive, and it sucks.

ps-mine were covered by medical insurance, but I think they were in teh neighbourhood of $300 total.
