i know i'm being a bitch... yes thats a phat bike, but with bikes like that on the market its hard to explain building your own chopper which is what its all about. take for example Kona's chopper. $1000 and you get a complete bike disc brake and all.
the bike in the works for me right now is looking at $400+ of parts (tires,seat,stem,bars,wheelbuild,etc) n/m the costs of steel, tooling and paint. almost makes me want to go buy a prefab bike |

id have to disagree with nooner, althought the kona has better parts and whatnot.. its not like your gonna go huger bender hucks, so it doesnt matter all that much. but with the giant, it looks like they put abit(alot) more effort into designing the frame, and the paint, etc..
