bmx sizing
Im thinking of getting hooked up with a bmx and have a question about top tube lengths. Ive seen some that have 19" lenghts and others that are 21.5". Is that mostly just to accomodate larger / smaller riders? or are there other performance issues?

some people prefer larger or smaller sizes, but yeah, i'm 5'10 and i ride a 20.75, bit longer than some people would like but it just comes down to preference.
but yes the top tube is how bmxes are sized and obviously a longer top tube for a taller rider.

racers also have longer TT's, generally anything b/w 20-21 in. should be fine
