2001 Monster T (lower crown)
Howdy:
Well I had my 2001 Monster T lower crown and steerer tube stolen from me. It's a long storey, it wasn't on my bike at the time or anything. Tried trading forks with some guy, he swore he sent the fork that I was supposed to get. Got his mom to send me my fork back, didn't have the lower crown. I now need to get a new Lower crown for a Monster T and steerer tube. I e-mailed Marzocchi, im waiting for a reply. Any one had to do this before? Any idea how much it might be? Any one know some one with a broken Monster for sale? This fork is mint. And don't feel like paying god knows how much for a new one from Marzocchi. Thanks for the help. -Nate |

If bobnug's doesnt work out then I would just buy a used complete monster then you will have spare parts. New parts are ridiculisly expensive.
Sorry to hear about you getting ripped off.

your best bet is to find a guy with a cracked crown and get it welded. once it is welded you can heat treat it in your oven. my bro found a link few months ago when he cracked his chain stay. worked out good and good A' new.
good luck with that. btw why don't you ask his mom for money or your crown. LIFE isn't fair gotta fight to get as bling from other ppl as you can. |

my bet is that new crown assembly is going to cost you the better part of 500 bucks anyway, you might as well buy a whole nother fork and have it for spare parts.
