.243 vs. .243

I'm buying a .243 frame, but not sure whether I should get a 2003 or 2004 frame.
Here are the options with prices:

2003 .243.....$499
2004 .243.....$599

What should I choose?

I'd have to order a 2004 though.

Help. I need to know before the frame sells

if youll be getting a medium 2004, then get the 2003. but if you want more sizing options definatley go 04. I wouldnt save $100 on a shorter frame personally....

Since we are on this topic....any LBS in the GVR have any .243's
build up? Would like to give her a go before buying the frame. And just to clarify, 04's are all 13"? Correct?

I don't know if I should get Bmx or Mtb BB on the frame
either. it's an mtb bb but you can run adapters on the bmx one.

i should have actually said re the choice that it depends on your size, but if you're regular length then the 03 for sure. if you have very specific sizing requirements, especially in relation to tt length then the 04 might be the one.

03 looks better, but the 04 has more size choices and shorter chainstays, so i would get that.

04...the little things are AWESOME on that bike...it all screams quality, I'm sure the 03's do too, but I owned an 04......definitly best freeride bike I've ever rode, not owned....owned is a given, but I've ridden a ton of other bikes and NOTHING felt as solid as my .243....
